The chemical industry is very demanding on the cooling technology used for the essential use of process cooling. Certain raw materials, semi-finished and finished products need to be stored or processed within narrowly defined temperature limits. Conventionally a centrally derived refrigeration system is recommended, in such systems the cold is distributed via transformer stations and refrigerants.
